What is "it” you might ask?

The one-word answer: RELATIONSHIPS.

Our lives - the good, the bad, the ugly, the fulfilling, and the frustrating are the sum total of and tied to our relationships.

Think about it, great movies, great music, great meals, great memories are in one way or another tied to relationships. The hero saves the maiden, the love song stirs the heart, a romantic dinner (even a picnic or a simple ice cream cone) can start a spark.

This is why real relationships equal real living!

Relationships are the gravity center of our individual lives and collective worlds. Because this is true, we have to make it our aim to make them real. Scripture tells us in Matt. 12:33 - “Make a tree good and its fruit will be good or make a tree bad and its fruit will be bad, for a tree is recognized by its fruit (NIV).”

There is a great need for the making of real relationships that have real fruit.

But let’s be honest, developing, keeping, growing, and living in real relationships is hard! Ever wonder why? We’re glad you asked!

If you want to have real relationships that lead to real living, you have to know you live in a world that constantly offers you a fake picture of what real relationships look like.

We believe the fake versus real battle over relationships

has been a strategic and spiritual assault by our adversary.

Scripture tells us that our adversary masquerades as an angel of light (2 Cor. 11:14). The Greek word for masquerades means to “change the figure of; to disguise”. In other words, Satan is trying to disguise and change the form of what is real so that you would choose a facade.

Satan places a facade right next to the real that God created

in hopes that you will choose the fake instead of the real.

This is never more true than in your relationships.
